Not sure if I've got the year right, but I had the good fortune of working with the guys as Stage Manager on the summer season for about 4 months that year. I stayed in the same hotel as the guys and we would always sit up late pretty much every night having a few beers and telling stories, jokes, playing pool, etc. That was a great summer, and it was always Duke who was the life and soul. He just didn't seem capable of letting the mood drop and my only regret is that I didn't get another chance to work with the band. Michael
