I remember vividly an early Barron Knights TV appearance before the hits (they were singing about peanut butter?) and thinking, that guy's cool, they're being funny, but he's cool as well. I was about 9 and he was Duke D'Mond - I am very sorry he's no longer with us and, to his family and friends, please accept my deepest sympathy.
